Privacy Policy

What Talvu uses, what stays in Gmail and how to contact us about your data.

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Who this policy covers

Talvu is operated by Vlad Filonenko, a sole proprietor. This policy describes information handled through talvu.online and the Talvu Chrome CRM extension. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at talvucrm@gmail.com.

The public website and Chrome extension are available. Its interactive preview uses fictional data held temporarily in browser memory; it does not connect to your Gmail or a CRM database.

Account and CRM information

When you use the connected extension, Talvu processes your Google account identity and email address, authorization credentials and session information. Google manages your password; Talvu never asks you to provide it.

Talvu stores CRM information you add, such as contact names, addresses, phone numbers, companies, projects, tasks, project notes, reminder recipients and settings, together with the relationships needed to show your CRM.

Gmail access

Talvu requests read-only Gmail access. The application retrieves basic metadata needed to connect email with your CRM, including message and thread identifiers, participants, subjects, dates and relevant labels. It does not retrieve or store message bodies, snippets or attachment contents.

This metadata supports linked history, automatic project linking, badges and CRM-related statistics. Talvu cannot send, edit or delete Gmail messages. Removing CRM data does not remove the original emails.

Google API information is used to provide these CRM features, not for advertising profiles or training general-purpose AI models.

Talvu uses and transfers Google API information in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Why information is used

Information is used to sign you in, operate and synchronize the CRM, provide support, protect accounts and prevent abuse. If you contact support, we also receive the information you choose to send.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on providing the service you request, legitimate interests such as security and support, consent where required, or legal obligations. The applicable basis depends on the purpose and jurisdiction.

Support conversations

When you use in-app support, Talvu stores the text you send, the team's replies and message times, linked to your account. Authorized Talvu operators can read and reply to these messages. This does not give support staff access to your CRM records or Gmail correspondence. Please do not send passwords or payment-card details.

Support conversations remain while your account exists and are removed with completed account deletion; backup retention can differ. CRM spreadsheet exports contain CRM records rather than support messages. Contact us if you need access to your support information.

Where message changes are available, each author can edit or delete their own messages. Deletion clears the text and leaves a placeholder with minimal timing and retry information; prior text may remain in backups for their retention period. Talvu also stores your read or hidden status for in-app system announcements, so these choices stay personal to your account. These receipts are removed with completed account deletion.

Website analytics and browser storage

The public landing page uses Google Analytics to understand visits and improve the website. Google may process browser/device information, online identifiers, approximate location and visit events, and may use analytics cookies. Talvu disables Google signals and ad-personalization signals and does not send CRM records or email metadata through its analytics integration.

The extension stores its session credential, configured API origin and interface preferences in Chrome extension storage. Loaded CRM views and unsaved forms stay in memory rather than being saved as an offline CRM copy. The website preview resets on reload.

The website remembers your selected language in a preference cookie.

You can manage cookies through your browser and learn about Google’s processing in the Google Privacy Policy and its Analytics opt-out tool.

Service providers and payments

Talvu uses infrastructure providers to host the website and CRM, store data and process background work, including Vercel, Neon and Upstash. Google provides sign-in, Gmail APIs and website analytics. Providers may process information outside your country; contact us for details relevant to your use.

Paddle is our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record for paid subscriptions. For purchases made through Paddle, it processes payment and billing information under its own Privacy Notice. Talvu stores trial dates, access status and payment, customer and subscription references needed to manage access. Talvu does not need your full payment-card details.

Retention and security

CRM information is retained while needed to provide the account and its features. Active CRM data is removed when an authorized account-deletion request is completed. Limited security, deletion-control and legally required records may need to remain; backup and provider retention can differ from active-data deletion.

Talvu uses scoped access checks, account isolation and encrypted stored Google credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security. Contact us if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

Your controls and rights

You can edit and export available CRM records, disconnect Gmail, revoke Talvu’s Google access through your Google account, or request account deletion. Disconnecting Gmail preserves CRM records; account deletion is a separate action.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive your information, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. Send requests to talvucrm@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. This does not require your Google password.

Policy updates

We will update this page when Talvu’s data handling changes and provide additional notice where required. The date above identifies the latest version.
